Microwave pasta is a no mess, quick recipe! You don't actually need a big pot of boiling water to cook pasta. Microwave makes it easier, you only need to stir the bowl a few times while cooking. You can make it when you are on the go with a few basic ingredients and without the taste compromise. This will save you more time!
This is a classic Indian style pasta recipe, a few basic Indian spice powders are used along with some tomato ketchup for the tangy tomato flavor. You can serve this dish hot for lunch or dinner. Milk is added for creaminess, you can also add some grated cheese in there for more.

Creamy and tasty Indian style pasta recipe made on the microwave with few Indian spices.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Pasta
- 1 cup Water
- Salt as required
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 Onion (chopped)
- 1 Tomato (chopped)
- 1 Carrot (chopped)
- 1/4 cup Bell pepper (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 or 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup Milk

Indian style macaroni in microwave - Step by step pictures
Take pasta in a microwave safe bowl. You can use any pasta that you like.
Add in the water. For 1/2 cup of pasta, you'll need 1 cup of water.
Add in some salt as per your taste.
Stir well and place the bowl on a microwave.
Microwave on high for 7 - 8 minutes by stirring 2 times in between to make sure that the pasta doesn't stick to the bowl.
Now you can see that the pasta is perfectly cooked. There is no water left in the bowl.
In another microwave-safe bowl, take some oil and add the diced onion and tomatoes.
Then add in your favorite veggies. I used carrot and bell pepper. Chop the veggies finely before adding.
Mix well and place the bowl back on the microwave.
Microwave the veggies on high for 4 minutes.
Now they're cooked well.
Add in some ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt and tomato sauce.
Mix well to combine.
Again microwave on high for 2 - 3 minutes.
Now add in the milk for creaminess.
Add the cooked pasta on top of it.
Mix gently.
Microwave on high for another 1 minute.
Creamy and piping hot microwave pasta is ready. Serve immediately.
