Milk sharbat | Doodh ka sharbat | Milk sharbat recipe

Sharbat is one of the popular recipes in India. It can be made with both milk and water. The sharbat made with water tastes like nimbu pani (lemon juice) but this one is almost like a milkshake.

The key ingredient for this drink is a concentrated syrup, Rooh Afza syrup (rose syrup) or Nanari syrup. This is super easy to make and it's perfect for summer. Beat the heat with this refreshing sharbat!

Milk sharbat - Step by step pictures

Take sabja seeds (basil seeds) in a small bowl and add water.

Let it soak for 15 - 20 minutes and set aside.

In a bowl take the required amount of rose syrup.

Add in the soaked basil seeds and mix well.

Pour in the cold milk. If you don't have cold milk you can use a few ice cubes.

Mix well to dissolve the syrup completely. The syrup has enough sweetness so you don't need to add any sweetener.

    Serve immediately!
