Pomegranate lassi | Anar lassi | Anar ki lassi recipe |



     A yogurt based delicious smoothie recipe filled with the goodness of pomegranate seeds and it's so creamy and frothy. Lassi is one of the most loved summer drink in India, originated from the state of Punjab. Initially it was made with no flavors. Only the salt and sweet lassies were made using some fresh homemade yogurt / curd. But now it's available in lots of different flavors for the lassi lovers to enjoy.


    Pomegranate lassi has it's unique taste and flavor and it truly depends on the pomegranate and yogurt you use. Make sure to use fresh thick yogurt and good quality ripe fruit. You can also add some fresh pomegranate seeds and chopped nuts in it while serving.

Pomegranate lassi - Step by step pictures

Take 1/2 cup of fresh pomegranate seeds and 1 cup of thick yogurt.


In a blender jar, add the pomegranate seeds and the cardamom powder.


Blend it without adding water.


Strain the juice with a strainer.


With the strained juice add in the yogurt and some sugar.


Whisk till it becomes frothy and serve it. You can add some ice cubes and dry fruits in it while serving.
