Cold coffee recipe | Frothy chocolate cold coffee | Cold coffee using blender



    A luscious beverage for coffee lovers to relish with rich chocolaty flavor. I am sharing my own style of delicious homemade coffee shop style cold coffee with thick frothy layer on top.  I always make my cold coffee in blender which gives us the froth while blending. 

    Cold coffee is mostly topped with ice cream or whipped cream. Chocolate syrup makes the cold coffee chocolaty, a generous drizzle on top and with the glass lined with chocolate syrup, cold coffee becomes more creamier. This is enough for a chocolate cold coffee since we don't need the chocolaty flavor overcome coffee taste and flavor. This is the reason why I don't prefer adding chocolate while blending.

Coffee shop style frothy cold coffee recipe at home.

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tbsp. Instant coffee powder
  • 2 to 3 tsp warm Milk
  • 1 scoop Vanilla / chocolate ice cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 5 to 6 Ice cubes
  • 2 tsp Sugar or any other sweetener for coffee (if needed)

Instructions
  • In a coffee mug, add 3 tbsp. sugar and 2 tbsp. instant coffee powder.
  • Add 1 tsp of warm milk and beat the mixture.
  • Continuously beat the mixture by adding little bit of warm milk at a time till it becomes fluffy and creamy.
  • Now add the required amount of this creamy mixture in blender jar along with ice cream, milk, sugar and ice cubes.
  • Blend well and serve it in a tall glass with toppings.

    Frothy chocolate cold coffee - Step by step pictures

    Take a coffee mug and add sugar and instant coffee powder.


    Add 1 tsp of warm milk and start beating it. Continuously beat it till it becomes creamy and fluffy by adding little bit of warm milk.


    You'll need around 2 to 3 tsp of warm milk. After 3 to 4 minutes of continuous beating, You'll end up with a fluffy creamy mixture.


    Now add 2 or 3 tsp of the beaten mixture in a blender and add 1 scoop of ice cream, 1 cup of milk and 5 - 6 ice cubes. Blend everything well.


    In a tall glass, drizzle some chocolate syrup all around.


    Pour in the cold coffee mixture.


    Add 1 scoop of ice cream on top and garnish it with some more chocolate syrup.



     Super tasty cold coffee is ready.
