Street Style Spicy Corn Recipe - Step by step pictures
For this spicy corn recipe you'll approximately need 1/2 cup of cooked corn kernels. You can either boil your corn in pressure cooker or cook it in microwave. I have cooked the corn in microwave, on it's high power for 3-4 minutes. If you're cooking corn in pressure cooker, cut it into half and cook it for 2-3 whistles in medium flame. You can even cook the corn kernels without cob in a sauce pan with some water.
After cooking, remove the corn kernels from corn cob. I am doing it with my hands, you can also run a knife near the cob to remove off the corn kernels. Take corn kernels in a bowl and add 3/4 tbsp. of softened butter.
Now start adding all the spices starting with 1/2 to 1 teaspoon of red chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder and 1/2 teaspoon of chaat masala.
Squeeze in some fresh lemon juice for that tangy flavor and add some finely chopped coriander leaves.
Now gently mix all the ingredients with a spoon. Always make sure whether the butter is mixed properly or not. Serve this spicy corn with a wedge of lemon.
