Tips on working with fondant
Always use gel food colours to colour the fondant. Don't use liquid food colour.
If fondant is too soft and sticky dust your hands and your work surface with a little cornstarch.
Cover the remaining fondant tightly with a cling film and store it in an airtight container.
If the fondant is too dry knead it well with your hands till it's pliable and soft.
Dust the work surface with a little cornstarch.
Roll the fondant with a rolling pin.
Cut using Leaf plunger cutters.
Add details using the Veining tool.
Let them dry completely before using.
