Mango kulfi - Step by step pictures
Clean a medium-sized ripe mango and with a peeler remove off the peel completely. With a sharp knife, chop the mango into cubes and take them in a blender jar.Now take 1 cup of full-fat milk in a saucepan. Continuously stir it on a slow flame until the milk reduces into half. Let the reduced milk cool down completely before adding it with mangoes. And here I would like to give you a simple tip if you want to make this recipe even easier without cooking, you can add in 1/4 to 1/2 cup of full fat cream instead of reduced milk.
Now for sweetness add in some condensed milk. Here you can't replace this with any other sweetener since this is gonna impart a sweet milky flavor in your kulfis. Add it as much as you want, depends upon the mango used and blend everything together into a fine puree.
You can choose your favorite nuts, chop them finely and add them in your kulfi molds. After adding nuts, add the blended kulfi mixture.
Sprinkle some more chopped nuts on top and put on their lids. Place them in the freezer for 12 hours or until they're completely frozen.
Once they're completely frozen, take them out of the freezer and to demould them place them under running tap water for few seconds. The fresh and delicious frozen dessert is completely ready to serve!!!
