Fruit and Nut Chocolates | How to make Homemade Chocolates
Customize these healthy chocolates by adding your favourite nuts and dried fruits. I used a combination of raisins and toasted almonds in my chocolate.
This recipe uses just 3 ingredients— dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and your choice of fruits and nuts! They are very easy to make, requiring just a couple of hours for the chocolate to set.
The chocolate can easily be adapted for endless flavour combinations! Everyone will love having these chocolates. They make a great edible gift for your friends and family.
Ingredients for Fruit and Nut Chocolate
- 150g Dark and Milk Chocolate
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts and dry fruits
Roughly chop the dark chocolate and milk chocolate and place them in a medium size glass bowl. Melt chocolate in the microwave or double boiler. Let it cool slightly.

Use chocolate moulds or line a loaf pan with a baking sheet.
Chop the nuts and dry fruits into small pieces.
Stir the chopped nuts and dried fruits in melted chocolate.
Divide the mixture evenly into moulds.
Lift the mould and gently tap to help chocolate settle, and fill any air pockets.
Spread some chopped nuts and fruits in the mould.
Spread the remaining chocolate carefully on top.
Sprinkle remaining nuts and fruits on top.
Refrigerate the moulds for 1 - 2 hours.
When chocolates are completely set, pop them out of moulds carefully.
Enjoy immediately or wrap up to eat later!
