Eggless Almond butterscotch cookies that are crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside. They’re the perfect grab-n-go kind of cookies made with only a few basic ingredients!
Brown sugar and melted butter are the two important ingredients that add the caramelly butterscotch flavour to the cookies and chopped almonds add a nice little crunch.
These are easy to make delicious cookies, best served with a glass of cold milk.
- melted Butter
- Powdered Brown sugar
- Butterscotch Essence or Vanilla extract
- All-Purpose Flour
- Salt
- Baking soda
- Almonds (chopped)
How to make Butterscotch Cookies - Step by step pictures
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Take melted butter and powdered brown sugar in a bowl.
Mix everything together until creamy.
Mix in the butterscotch essence.
Sift together the all-purpose flour, salt and baking soda.
Mix everything together until combined.
Add in the chopped almonds.
Mix until combined.
Scoop and shape the cookies.
Arrange them on a lined baking tray.
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven of 180°C for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
