Mango Cake With Mango Glaze | Mango Glazed Cake | Mango cake
Take a bite of this delicious mango cake which is so easy to make with simple ingredients. This mango glazed cake is a soft and moist cake with the aroma and flavour of fresh mangoes to satisfy your mango cravings without much effort.
I made a simple two-ingredient mango glaze for the cake in the microwave. You can also cook the mango glaze on the stovetop.
Ingredients for Mango Glazed Cake
For Cake
- Eggs
- White sugar
- Flavourless oil
- Vanilla extract
- Mango puree
- all-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Milk

Line a cake tin with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180°C. Blend the mangoes to make a smooth puree.
For mango glaze, In a microwave-safe bowl mix together the mango puree and sugar.
Microwave for 5 minutes on high power.
Mix well and set aside.
Take egg whites in a bowl and beat until foamy.
Add in the sugar and beat for 4 - 5 minutes.
In another bowl mix together the egg yolks, oil and vanilla.
Add in the mango puree.
Mix well until combined.
Sieve together the all-purpose flour, baking powder and salt.
Gradually add in the milk and mix until smooth.
Gently fold in the egg whites.
Pour onto the prepared baking pan. Tap the pan several times to remove large air bubbles.
Bake the cake at 180°C for 35 - 40 minutes. Bake until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
Invert the cake onto a wire rack to cool completely.
Spread the glaze and decorate the cake. Serve chilled.
