Caramel Cookies | Caramel Lava Cookies | Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
These Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies are rich, buttery, perfectly chewy, loaded with caramel and chocolate chips.
The recipe is incredibly easy and they always disappear quickly!
Brown sugar has molasses, which makes the cookies very moist and chewy. They have a chewy centre with golden crispy, buttery edges.
Ingredients for Caramel Cookies
- All-purpose flour
- Salt
- Baking Soda
- Butter
- Brown sugar
- White sugar
- Egg
- Dark & Milk Chocolate chips
- Caramel candies
Preheat the oven to 180° C and line a baking tray with parchment paper. In a bowl mix together the all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt.
In another bowl mix together the melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
Add in the egg, beat until combined.
Add the dry ingredients and mix everything together until combined.
Add in the chopped caramel and chocolate chips.
Mix everything together until combined. Scoop and shape the cookies.
Arrange them on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
Let them cool in the pan for 5 - 10 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
