Jam Muffins Recipe | Muffins Filled with Jam | Jam Filled Muffins
A cup of cold milk and a muffin, filled with jam makes a perfect anytime snack.
These soft muffins have a little melting surprise inside! I used mixed fruit jam, but any flavour would do.
- Any Fruit Jam
- Eggs
- Melted Butter
- Vanilla extract
- Milk
- all-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Baking soda
- Salt
- White sugar
Melt the jam in the microwave. Mix well and set aside to cool.
In a bowl mix together the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract and milk.
In another bowl mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and salt.
Gently mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
Mix until smooth and lump-free.
Line a muffin pan and fill the cupcake liners halfway with batter.
Add the required amount of jam.
Top it with the remaining batter.
Bake for 20 - 25 minutes until golden and a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Transfer the muffins to a wire rack and let them cool completely.
