This oreo cake is moist and chocolaty, layered with sweet oreo cream frosting.
To make this oreo cake you can grind the cookies along with the cream or you can grind and use only the cookies like I did. I used oreo cream to make an easy chocolate frosting for the cake.
Eno fruit salt can also be used instead of baking powder.
Ingredients For Oreo cake
For Cake
Oreo Cookies (choco creme)
Sugar
Baking powder
Milk
For frosting
Cocoa powder
Powdered sugar
Butter
Choco chips (optional)
How to make Oreo cake with Oreo cream frosting - Step by step pictures
Separate the cream from the biscuits.
Break the biscuits into small pieces.
Take the biscuits and sugar in a blender jar.
Blend to a fine powder and take it in a bowl.
Add in the milk gradually and whisk until smooth.
Mix in the baking powder.
Immediately pour the batter into a greased tin.
Bake the cake in a preheated oven of 180°C for 35 - 40 minutes. Let the cake cool down completely before frosting.
For the chocolate frosting, beat together the oreo cream, cocoa powder, powdered sugar and butter.
Beat until smooth and creamy.
Spread the frosting, slice and serve!
