Using basic baking ingredients and the dried fruits and nuts in the pantry you can bake these incredibly delicious, moist and chewy cookies.
They have a rich buttery flavour, incredibly tender on the inside and a satisfying crisp texture on the outside.
Even if you are new to baking cookies, this is a good place to start. You can try any combination of dried fruits and nuts.
They are also perfect for gifting to your friends and family.
- Mixed Nuts and Dry fruits
- melted butter
- White Sugar
- Brown Sugar
- Vanilla extract
- Egg
- All-purpose flour
- Baking soda
- Salt
- Ground Cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 180° C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Chop nuts and dry fruits into pieces.
Take melted butter, brown sugar, white sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl.
Beat everything together until smooth.
Add in the egg, beat until creamy and light.
Sieve together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon powder.
Mix everything together until a smooth dough is formed.
Add in the chopped nuts and dry fruits.
Mix everything together until combined.
Scoop and shape the cookies.
Arrange them on a lined baking tray.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes in the preheated oven.
Let them cool in the pan for 5 - 10 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
