How to roast Papads and Fryums in microwave | Roast papad in 2 minutes with & without oil |


    The method of frying papads and fryums on microwave is incredibly easy and it's definitely a go-to option on busy days! Roasting papads in hot oil is not something everyone can do and also it's a quite messy job. Microwave makes the process so easy and it's the best method for beginners to try at home every day, you can't deny that!

    Brushing oil on both sides gives them a perfectly crisp texture like deep-fried ones, so you don't have to compromise on taste. Try it by yourself if you don't believe me.


   You can fry a variety of papads and fryums on the microwave with or without oil. Here, I have added step by step pictures of roasting different papads on microwave.




Round papad 

Method 1 (without oil)


Take papads in a microwave-safe plate.


Place the plate on the turntable of a microwave. Papads can also be placed directly on the turntable but the turntable needs to be perfectly clean.


Microwave on high power for 1 - 2 minutes. (Microwave mode)


Ready to serve!




Method 2 (with oil)

Take papads in a microwave-safe plate and brush oil on both sides with a soft silicone brush.


Place the plate on the turntable of a microwave.


Microwave on high power for 2 - 3 minutes.



Crispy microwave roasted papad!




Fryums

Take 1/4 cup of fryums in a microwave-safe bowl or plate.


Brush with some oil.


Microwave on high power for 2 - 3 minutes.


Ready to eat!





Heart shaped rice papad and sabudana papad


Brush oil on both sides.


Microwave on high power for 2 - 4 minutes.


Ready to serve!
