Milk powder burfi | 2 layer Chocolate Burfi | Instant chocolate burfi


  Who doesn’t love Milk Burfi? which is quite easy to put together and makes a great dessert for all occasions. Be it a festival, or a weekend lunch, there is always something sweet to enjoy from time to time! 

  Want to fancy the usual milk burfi a bit? Try this simple 2 layer Chocolate burfi.

Milk powder burfi - Step by step pictures

Heat ghee in a nonstick pan.


Slowly pour in the milk.


Mix in the milk powder without any lumps.


Also, mix in the powdered sugar.



Pour in the remaining ghee.


Continuously cook on low flame for 2 - 3 minutes. Mix in the cardamom powder.


Divide the mixture into two equal portions.


Transfer one portion to a greased/lined tray.


Mix in the cocoa powder with the second portion.


Spread the second layer on top of the first layer.


Sprinkle some chopped nuts on top and gently press down with a spatula.



Refrigerate for 1 - 2 hours.


Cut into small pieces and enjoy.
