Chikoo shake recipe | Sapota Milkshake | Sapodilla shake healthy and tasty


    Chikoo, also known as sapota is a delicious tropical fruit with a grainy textured soft and juicy flesh. It's loaded with natural sugars, unique aroma, and taste which makes it everyone's favorite. It's one of the healthiest fruits with a rich source of nutrition. Chikoo Milkshake is almost similar to any other fruit shakes which require only three basic ingredients like chopped fruits, chilled milk, and honey or sugar for sweetness.

    The addition of a few almonds and some chocolate syrup is completely optional, I added them to make the shake more tasty and healthy. It's so filling and refreshing, to have on a hot summer day. Also, no one can resist the taste of this thick and creamy milkshake!

Chikoo shake - A creamy and thick fruit shake filled with the goodness of the fruit Chikoo.

Ingredients
  • 5 or 6 Chikoo
  • 1 & 1/2 cup chilled Milk
  • 5 or 6 Almonds (optional)
  • 2 - 3 tsp Chocolate syrup (optional)
  • 2 - 3 tsp Sugar

Instructions
  • Wash, peel and deseed the chikoos.
  • Roughly chop them into pieces.
  • Take chopped chikoos, sugar and almonds in a blender jar.
  • Pour in the chilled milk and chocolate syrup.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Garnish with sliced almonds. Serve cold!

    Chikoo shake recipe - Step by step pictures

    Wash the chikoos in water thoroughly.


    Remove the peel with a peeler.


    Remove the seeds and roughly chop them into pieces.


    Also cut a few round slices for garnish.


    Take chopped chikoos in a blender jar.


    Add some sugar or honey as per taste and a few almonds.



    Pour in the chilled milk.


    Drizzle the chocolate syrup.



    Blend until smooth.



    Add some finely chopped chikoo in the serving glasses.


    Pour in the prepared shake.



    Garnish with sliced almonds. Serve cold!
