Potato lollipops recipe | Crispy potato lollipops | Tasty potato snack

  Potato lollipop is a very good party snack or appetizer served with ketchup or any dip of choice. It's an interesting finger food for kids and can be easily prepared at home.

  Potato is a perfect vegetable for these lollipops but to make them more healthy, other veggies like carrot, peas, beetroot, bell pepper, or cabbage can also be used along with the mashed potatoes.

Potato lollipops - A crispy, deep-fried potato snack made with boiled potatoes.

Ingredients

• 3 Potatoes (boiled)
• 1 or 2 tbsp Onion (chopped)
• 1 or 2 tbsp Coriander leaves (chopped)
• 1 tsp Red chili powder
• 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
• 1/2 tsp Garam masala
• 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
• 1/2 tsp Dry mango powder
• 3 - 4 tbsp Bread crumbs
• Salt as required
• 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
• 2 tbsp Maida
• 3 - 4 tbsp Water
• 1/4 - 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
• Oil to deep fry

Instructions

Take boiled potatoes, chopped onion and chopped corriander leaves in a bowl.

Add in all the spices, bread crumbs, ginger garlic paste, and some salt as per taste.

Mix well until everything is combined and roll the mixture into small balls

In a small bowl combine maida and water to a flowing consistency batter.

Dip the balls in the batter one by one.

Coat the dipped balls with bread crumbs and fry them in hot oil until golden.
