I Know that most of the people really struggles a lot with their microwave oven! They don't basically know how to use a convection microwave oven and what are all the foods or recipes which they can cook in a convection microwave oven?  The only thing that pops up in all of our minds is baking a cake. That's really true!!! You can bake a cake in a convection microwave oven. But other than cake making a convection microwave oven has several other functions and uses.

A convection microwave oven is the one which has several modes in it and it can be used for cooking variety of food recipes. You can cook your rice, you can bake your cake and you can even make grilling recipes like grilled chicken, that means your convection microwave oven is loaded with lots of functionalities. You have to choose a perfect mode for each recipe you are making and that's the most important thing which you have to keep in your mind when you are working in a convection microwave oven.

MODES OF A CONVECTION MICROWAVE OVEN

Are you really confused with different modes of a convection microwave oven?

    Basically  a convection microwave oven has three different single modes and they have their combination modes as well. All of them have their own functions and they can be used according to the recipe needs. They have combination of modes like micro + grill and micro + convection. But now I'm gonna focus only on those single modes which are listed below.

MICROWAVE MODE

    Let's talk about the first mode, which is the microwave mode. Microwave mode is used for all sort of general cooking purposes. People call it as microwave hacks since they are really life saving and they save most of your time in kitchen. 

You can cook rice, dal, making roti's or  pulkas, curries and gravies. 

You can boil your potatoes and tomatoes in microwave mode within minutes.

You can toast your nuts, cook your papads and popcorn.

You can even make cake in microwave mode and that's called microwave cake.

GRILL MODE

   Grill mode is the second mode which is used for all sort of grilling recipes that you make in barbeque and that actually gives you the charred flavor in your recipes. You can use the grill which is provided along with the oven, both lower and higher racks according to the recipe.

In this mode you can make grilled chicken, paneer tikka,  chicken tikka, tandoori for that charred flavor and you can even make grilled sandwiches.

CONVECTION MODE

     Convection mode is widely used for baking. This is the only mode which is used for all sort of baking recipes and you have to choose the appropriate temperature according to the recipe. And before baking you have to preheat your microwave oven to a desired temperature.

 You can bake cakes, puffs, macrons, biscuits & cookies in this mode.

 You can make Indian recipes like Naan, Chicken tandoori etc.

 And most importantly you can bake your pizza.
