Making these Marbled Cookies is really interesting and easy. You simply need to make one vanilla dough. Divide the dough in half and fold in the cocoa powder and red food colour in one half. Twist them together to create the marble effect.

- All-purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- Butter
- Egg
- Powdered Sugar
- Cocoa powder
- Vanilla extract
- Red gel food colour
How to make Red Velvet Marble Cookies - Step by step pictures
Line a cookie tray with parchment paper and set it aside. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Beat butter and powdered sugar until fluffy in a large bowl, with an electric mixer.
Add in the egg and vanilla extract.
Beat until well combined.
Add the dry ingredients and gently mix until combined.
Divide the dough into two portions. Mix the cocoa powder and food colour in one portion.
To create a marbled effect, roll and shape the dough balls into logs.
Twist them together and shape the dough.
Cover the dough in plastic wrap. Refrigerate the dough until firm enough to cut.
Slice the dough with a sharp knife.
Carefully transfer them to a prepared baking sheet.
Bake the cookies for 10 to 12 minutes.
Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a wire rack.
