The delicious buttery and slightly crunchy Orange Cookies made with fresh orange zest and juice. You can fill your home with a pleasant orange scent, and have tempting orange cookies to snack on without much effort.
Its a reliable eggless cookie recipe that is ridiculously easy to make in less then an hour.
Ingredients for Eggless Orange Cookies
- Melted Butter
- Powdered sugar
- Orange food colour
- Orange zest
- all-purpose flour
- Salt
- Baking soda
- Fresh orange juice
- Cherries or raisins
Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Take melted butter, orange food color, orange zest and powdered white sugar in a bowl.
Mix everything together until creamy.
Sift together the all purpose flour, salt and baking soda.
Add in the orange juice.
Mix everything together until combined.
Scoop and shape the cookies. Arrange them on a lined baking tray. Make the orange pattern with a knife.
Place a piece of raisin or cherry on each cookie.
Bake the cookies in a preheated oven of 180°C for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
