Caramel Brownie Ingredients
- Caramel candies
- Milk
- Dark Chocolate
- Butter
- Eggs
- Brown sugar
- White sugar
- Vanilla extract
- all-purpose flour
- Cocoa powder
- Salt
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and line a 7x7 square baking pan with parchment paper. Melt caramel candies with milk in the microwave until you have a smooth caramel sauce.
Mix well until smooth and set aside to cool.
Place butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl.
Melt in microwave for 1 minute.
Whisk together until mixed well and set aside to cool.
In another large bowl, combine brown sugar, white sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
Beat everything together for 2 to 3 until well combined.
Pour in the melted chocolate and butter mixture.
Whisk together until mixed well.
Sift in the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
Stir the mixture until it's smooth.
Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Carefully spread the melted caramel on top. Top it with the remaining brownie batter without disturbing the caramel layer. Bake for 25 - 30 minutes or until a skewer inserted in the centre comes out with moist crumbs. Set aside to cool completely before cutting. Drizzle with caramel sauce and enjoy!
