Lemon & cherry cupcakes - Step by step pictures

Mix milk and vinegar. Set aside for 10 minutes. (for buttermilk)
Beat the butter and powdered sugar until creamy. Mix in the lemon zest and lemon juice. Pour in the buttermilk.
Sieve in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix everything together without any lumps.
Fold in the chopped candied cherries.
Scoop the batter into muffin liners. Bake in a preheated oven of 170°C for 25 - 30 minutes.
Frost the cupcakes with buttercream and enjoy!
