     A crunchy and spicy tea time snack made with chickpea flour and few spices. This is one of the popular snacks in India and it's made in a lot of ways in different regions. This is a typical south Indian bakery style masala peanut recipe and this can be served with rice recipes like lemon rice, curd rice, coconut rice etc.

Crunchy deep fried appetizer / snack made with raw peanuts.

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup Gram flour / Besan
• 1.5 tbsp. Rice flour
• 1 tbsp. Corn flour
• 1 tsp Red chilli powder
• 1/2 tsp Garam masala
• 1 tsp Chaat masala
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• A pinch of Asafoetida / Hing
• Salt as required
• 1/2 tsp Carom seeds / Ajwain
• 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
• A pinch of Baking soda
• 1 tbsp. Oil
• 1 cup Peanuts
• 3 - 4 tbsp. Water
• Few Curry leaves for garnish
• Oil to deep fry.

Instructions

In a bowl add in all the ingredients except peanuts and water.

Mix well and add in the peanuts.

Coat the peanuts well with the masala and gradually add in the water.

Mix gently. Coat all the peanuts with the masala.

Now drop the peanuts little by little on hot oil. Fry till golden and take it out. Also fry few curry leaves for garnish.
